Lonely Girl

She’s just a lonely girl
Looking for something in this world not to bring her down
Looking for someone who’ll be there and not to push her around
She’s just searching for someone who’ll hear her out
And listen to her sound

Without a family
No one to be there when she cried out in misery
All of these things she needs to see out unwillingly
She never had the chance to be loved and grow up happily
She was never seen, so she could never be

[Chorus]
She is a lonely girl
Trapped in a dark and cold, black world
And all she wants is to be free
But to be loved is what she needs

She needs her independence
In order to break free from society’s preconceptions
The only thing preventing her from what she wants are their rejections
But despite the cruel things that they say
Her feelings just won’t fade away

He’s her superior
His social status and his wealth make him prosper
All the girls want him for their own and she has nothing
She is simple and she is plan, yet he loves her anyway
And she loves him just the same

[Bridge]
She is a lonely girl
Trapped in a dark and cold, black world
And she’s left wide open
She feels misunderstood
She wanted someone to defend her
But didn’t think anyone ever would
She’s lost inside with nowhere to go
She is drowning in her tears – alone
Facing all of her fears
And all she wants is to be free
But to be loved is what she needs
